NEVER use Kevlar belting on Lat-Pull or Low-Row machines, here's why:

• Kevlar belting fails catastrophically. Although strong, Kevlar belting does not show signs of wear like cable or polyamide belting. When it fails it fails catastrophically typically when being used by the strongest users. Catastrophic failure can and has caused severe user injury and even death.
• Both the Lat-Pull and Low-Row selectorized machines pull the weight toward the user. If/when the Kevlar belt fails it can impale the user with the attachment (in the case of Lat-Pull) or hurl the user back (in the case of the Low-Row). Users have been seriously injured and killed from Kevlar belt failures on these machines.
• Polyamide belting is recommended for all Lat-pull and Low-Row applications. Unlike Kevlar belting, polyamide belt does not fail catastrophically. It elongates and deforms first giving the user the opportunity to replace it and avoid serious injury.
• Most OEMs including Life Fitness, Cybex, Body Master and others recommend using Polyamide belting for Lat-Pull and Low-Row applications.
